Cain likes to think he would not have done the same in her position. Trying to revive to dead was a very serious mistake. Considering what they were, he would never confront her on it. They were beings that were not supposed to be in this world. He had no ground to start saying what wonders of science were or were not acceptable when he was in fact one of those things.
So began his fake smile and guarded behavior.
If he believed in God, he might pray Seth did not notice the change in him since his talk with Jade. Some part of him was defeated. There was no way to clear his name when he did not know the full truth. Eventually he would have to pay for the actions of a monster that stole his dead body. That hardly mattered to him. What hurt worse was knowing that they would turn on Seth and Abel too. He tried so hard not to think about it but, it invaded his thoughts once more.
Time for a distraction.
"Seth...can you do me a favor?"
