[Toph folds her arms and leans back against the wall.

Yeah, she doesn't exactly respond to 'You' or pointing, and not just because she likes being difficult.

So she'll just wait here for whomever she's supposed to be working with to get irritated with her. But while she's at it, she may as well make the effort and act irritating.

Toph cracks her knuckles and stretches, apparently in no hurry to get going.]

[Any idea that Razer had any clue as to what he was doing flew out the window when the elf paired him with a kid. Wonderful. Just wonderful.

Kevas sighs and rubs his forehead. Try to stay optimistic Kevas. Maybe she won't be so bad. And maybe he isn't a drunk.]

[Toph's first thought is that he talks funny. Her second thought is that he's tall.]

Where did you come from?

[She snaps her mouth shut. This isn't a meet-and-greet, and she already made fun of that strutting pea-pheasant for wasting time. Better get to it.]

[And she starts for the stairs, rapping the wall with her staff every few feet or so.]

Okay he can't help himself. Kevas waves his hand in front of her eyes as he walks beside her, waiting for some sort of reaction. If he's wrong then he just looks like an ass. If he's right, then they're stopping by deck eight first.]

[Toph snickers. Score one for the tall guy.

She stops laughing when a slight breeze disturbs her bangs.

It could just be a coincidence, except it's not going away. Toph has waved her own hand in front of her face enough times to be able to tell when someone else is doing it. She blows at Kevas' hand like it's an insect.]

[She stops. They're at the stairs. She doesn't actually know which decks they're supposed to be going to.]

[Toph rolls her eyes. You can't know that the voice sounds the same everywhere until you've been everywhere.

But whatever. She heads up the stairs. The sooner they get this done, the better.]

You wanna check out the sushi bears or whatever's behind those locked doors first?

[This is stupid. They aren't going to find anything here unless the sushi bears ate someone. What, did the pea-pheasant think someone might be crying out for help from under a casino table or something?]

[Kevas agrees. He knows this deck well enough to know that there's nothing here. At least nothing that can cause this constant crying. Still, at least they're not standing around and bitching. They're on a futile search and bitching. Completely different.]

[Toph nods and starts heading through to the casino, poking at things with her staff as she goes. It's really the very minimum effort she can put in.]

[She can't actually hear him right now, but he's always in the casino somewhere.]

[Kevas frowns. They haven't even done anything and she wants to take a break already? Then again he's already been up and down most of these decks and found nothing. And well, it's sushi. How can you say no to that?

[She pulls up a chair and a sushi tray. The bears have not yielded to her argument that she should also be allowed sake.]
