The sky pirate would openly admit that getting acclimated to his new surroundings took less work than he figured. It was hard to complain to people and demand answers when no one he'd run across so far apparently knew anything to begin with. So after finding his quarters and then complaining to at least a dozen people that had no idea what he was talking about, he finally resigned himself to trying to relax. It seemed that until he even had the slightest idea of what was going on here, there just wasn't anything he could do.
During his run-around looking for people that could answer his questions, he'd happened to spy the mini-golf green and was interested enough that he eventually opted to learn to play. He found the rules were simple enough and the odd layout of the course made it all quite challenging to get the ball into the hole without touching it.
All of which brought him to where he was now, standing at a fairly simple hole. A short stretch leading up a steep mound incline that sank into a small depression at the top with the target in the center of it. And that's where he was having problems.
"Tch... how am I supposed to get the ball in there?" He openly queried no one in particular before he lined up to take what was probably his 14th attempt now.
