The sun was beginning to go down, and it was the time when the two musicians usually practiced to the often empty Sergei's Bar and Grill. Instead, Kate went to the bar early and snatched up two bottles of wine and two glasses to go along with the package of chocolates she had taken from the gift-shop. Hoping that she'd catch Gideon before he left his room, she hurried to the elevator and then down the hall to the drummer's room.
Kate finds his door closed and tries to knock, but she finds it difficult with her arms and hands full. Instead, she bumps her head to his door a few times, her expression taking on a silly mixture of pain and embarrassment.
