It was more happenstance than anything else, finding Ganondorf alone like this. Phoenix had come to deck 12 with the intention of looking through the clothes while he considered exactly how to set his plan in motion. He either needed to find someplace Ganondorf would be, or find a way to lure the man to a location of his choosing.

But there he was, looking through one of the many suitcases piled all over the deck. The man seemed in no hurry at all.

He hadn't noticed Phoenix yet.

Quickly, the elf pulled back behind the nearest stack of luggage. He waited a moment, all but holding his breath, but nothing. He exhaled slowly, careful not to make a sound, then leaned just far enough forward to peer around the unevenly balanced suitcases.

Ganondorf was still where he was, and still had his back to Phoenix. He was going through a different suitcase, though, giving every indication that he intended to be here a while.

This is it, Phoenix realized, the beat of his heart speeding up. This is our opportunity.

He pulled out his communicator and quickly set the appropriate locks. He said nothing, didn't dare risk the sound, but a text message soon went out with sixty-nine percent protection against any hacking eyes.

[Jak, Ironhide, Razer. Deck 12. Now. Jak, do what I asked with Razer's knife, then help Ironhide. Razer, you will need to act fast.

I will do my part as long as I can. You have five minutes before I begin.

Respond.]
