Ooo Baby it's a Wild World
It's been awhile, I know. But I have a valid excuse, Alaska just didn't offer me the time or energy to tell all my stories in my LiveJournal. I sort of wish I would've kept a detailed account of everything I've been through on my 8 week journey through Prince William sound and SE AK. But I know in my head what I've seen, heard, and felt.
In short, I've seen animals, plants, mountains, glaciers, bodies of water, and natural wonders that Michigan will never have. I've learned more about people in 2 months, being around so many different kinds for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, then the 20 years I've been alive. And plenty about myself. I've laughed ALOT, cried a little, been scared, lonely, amazed, infatuated, and so proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone.
And it's not even over.
I'm home for 6 more days, then I return to cruise the Columbia/Snake River for about 6 more weeks. After that I plan on spending some time in Olympia with one of the most amazing guys I have ever met. Then from there, I dunno where you'll find me. But wherever I end up, I know I'll be smarter, better traveled, more oepn minded and hopefully happier than I ever could've been before.
