The Season of Giving
Well, as of 4pm today I am officially on break for the holidays ^_^. They actually tried to get me to work Christmas day, but they are gonna have to pay me a lot more than time and a half to get me to work on Christmas. Anyway, despite my insane levels of holiday cheer (which if you know me you know it's quite frightening lol)humanity continues to disappoint me sometimes. A couple of my friends have had Christmas presents stolen off their front porches. It's bad enough when people steal your things, but when people steal a present you got for someone else it's just sickening. It's like they're stealing your kindness. I think the most disappointing thing about it is not the material possessions they've lost, but how someone steals the magic of the holiday season away from them. I just...I just......I just don't understand people.............
Anyway, let's move on to a cheerier subject. Today when I got off work I decided to deck out my dad's enterprise.
I wish I would have had some brown paper, but all in all I'd say not too shabby lol. It amuses me anyway.
I've had the Christmas lights up and going for quite some time but they still make my ADHD happy lol. We watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas tonight(which always make me think of a picture of me as a baby mezmorized by that movie lol). We started watching The Grinch, but my dad holds some grudge to it, so it's bee recorded and I will finish it later. Tomorrow I will be baking some gingerbread cookies which I'm totally excited about . I blame the Fox Trot Comic XD. I won't make all of them star trek gingerbread men......but I may just have to make a couple lol.
But yes, I'm excited that I don't have to get up at 5AM cuz I DON'T WORK TOMORROW!!!!! Yay Christmas Eve!!!! Then I'll have a Rhys visiting me on the 28th, and my aunt and uncle will be here on the 29th. Then I get to go to New Years festivities with my friends this year!! I think I'm gonna explode Holiday Cheer EVERYWHERE!!
