O Hai thar LJ
So it's been like two months since I've really typed something up. I've been keeping myself super busy lately. I've still been working most monday-fridays. On the weekends I've been doing a variety of things, though typically it involves me heading over to Bloomington.
Last weekend was Keiko's last weekend before moving out west so we had early Thanksgiving over at her place. I of course spent most of the weekend with her. I'll definitely have to fly out there to visit her sometime. I miss her.....
The weekend before that was Halloween weekend. We also had Beth Drater Keiko and my joint birthday party over at Keiko's dad's on Saturday. It was small, but good people and good food and good fun ^_^. Keiko made a really neat cake that looked like the Tartus from Dr. Who. I haven't seen too much of it, but what I've seen I've liked. As for Halloween day, I was kinda disappointed because there weren't really Halloween festivities going on in Bloomington. Everyone had headed over to Champaign on Saturday. There was fighting, but I wanted to wear my costume all day since I spent so much time on it. I still went to practice, but I wasn't about to fight in it.
The weekend before that I had intended to stay home the whole weekend, but we ended up having some AMAZING weather. So I had to head over to Bloomington for fighting on Sunday. I also neglected to mention I was coming over so I could surprise the boy. That was fun. His roommate was even there when I showed up so I got to make it all the way to his room and surprise him X3. I even took the time to make him some chocolate chip muffins, so that was tons of fun ^_^
hmmm everything before that just gets all mushed together because of how busy I was with working and costuming and everything lol......
It's getting really close to actual thanksgiving which is weird to think about since it was in the 70's today. Not that I'm complaining or anything. Just very......not Illinois November lol. I'll be pretty busy again for the next few weeks with work and the Holidays. I even work tomorrow which is just gonna mess my days all up XD. I'll work for 6 days straight, and then I head over to Bloomington to see the boy and bring him back over for Thanksgiving 2 of 3. I hope he isn't too bored being at my house since I work Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Then on Black Friday we'll head up to his parents place for Thanksgiving 3 of 3. Driving near Chicago on black Friday will be fun I'm sure lol. I already told him he gets to do that driving lol.
Well, I think that's about it for the time being. I'll try to update more than once every couple months XD. Hope you all are doing well.
