He kisses her hair. (She was number sixty-six. This is how they met.) "Shh," he says. "We've got you."

"How the fuck are you not hung over?"

...and then he tells her about the Mockingjay plan.

And if NZ isn't going to have it till September I say fuck it, let's write the gorram books ourselves.

Oh, Johannnnnaaa...this is too tragic. This Hunger Games drabble meme is producing some great stuff, and this ficlet is near the top of my favorites!

Also, I love your writing, capital letters or no, and you deserve a sparkly ribbon. That's the truth.

(And! For the record, right now I'm listening to your songs remind me of swimming, still the greatest Hunger Games mix ever, completely out of coincidence. I find this awesome.)

I've always liked Johanna, and I love how you did this little piece of her. With Haymitch and Finnick to boot. As usual, brilliant wording, and such powerful lines.
