Hm...

Perhaps... I am grateful for the last two curses, in the end. Though discomforting to be affected by, they gave me an idea of who to watch provided a great deal of insight into the nature of the citizens and how what this City brought to the surface compares to what is truly there. It may be so, it may not be so. I'm not under the compulsion to say ( Read more... )

my work is art, there is more to this, yes this has a point, thinking too much, percent complete=x, watching you, the ancient art of eye-rolling, this could go either way, like this sometimes, investigation time, there is never too many tags, post-curse

While I see your point, they were also... rather uncomfortable for many of us.

Which is why I don’t intend to memorize the secrets or repeat them, only how small or great the difference is interests me.

Hm… So far, you’re the second who seems to be saying I ought not to have paid even that much attention to what was said. I wonder if someone who has nothing to hide can really judge the value of a secret or the effect of it being known…

I'm not saying that, exactly. I certainly see the value of complete transparency in some cases.

At the same time, I feel some of us keeps secrets for other reasons than purely malicious ones.

Also, that was the most intensely uncomfortable 24 hours I've ever spent. Is every curse like that?

OOC: Oops, sorry. XD

Ah, I misunderstood, then.

Embarrassment seems like it would be high up there, too, now that I think about why instead of what… I’ll apologize, if I’m embarrassing you and it would help you feel a little less so. I promise I do have manners, even if I don’t always seem to.

Some curses are, some aren’t. I spent a day as a ferret due to a curse that turned people into animals, and that was actually pretty fun since I used to wonder what it was like to be that size; I also liked the one where everyone was story characters. There are a couple curses that you were lucky to miss: one was when people thought they were “Immortals” and attempted to behead each other in the streets, and another was one were ghosts appeared to try to talk people into changing their ways.

[OOC: It’s ok, that happens sometimes.]

No, no, no apology needed. I'm certain I owe one to a few people for yesterday, but... well. While there are people I certainly don't trust and would like to know more about their internal machinations... well, people also have layers for a reason.

That seems unpleasant, though. Is there any reason or rational for the curses that you are aware of?

The majority of those who hear it are dead, though a remarkably small fraction of those who appear to be living can hear it, too.

…is something wrong?

[OOC: o.o That was a total accident.]

Ah.

No, nothing. Thank you. That's very interesting to know.

[OOC: I know. XD It makes me happy, though.]

Ah, alright.

You’re welcome. Is there anything else you want to know about?
