Perhaps... I am grateful for the last two curses, in the end. Though discomforting to be affected by, they gave me an idea of who to watch provided a great deal of insight into the nature of the citizens and how what this City brought to the surface compares to what is truly there. It may be so, it may not be so. I'm not under the compulsion to say everything I think, so how would one know what my real feelings on those curses are or why I feel that way? Liars and deities aren't the only ones who don't say every thought, as you all know well.

Or perhaps... I'm simply being much too cold at the moment or thinking too mechanically...
