Year of the...?
Happy Chinese/Eastern New Year to all who celebrate it. Which animal is it this year?
I'll be joining in the festivities, so... Does this look right?
How were the gifts? I might be getting the holidays confused, but I think New Year's is the one were people give small gifts in hope of prosperity coming to the receiver. It was cold to walk around to put the gifts on the doorsteps at midnight and leaving the window open, but it'll be worth it if the lore is right, correct?
Hm... If I'm going to be continuing following the traditions the best I can, then tomorrow I'll need to set up and make a small shrine-type thing for a couple of people from my world...

EDIT: Who is responsible for putting the box of bottle rockets I just discovered at the foot of my bed and how did you get in without waking me or the dogs?
Mitsuhide(Dark-Hair): Two oranges, and a stuffed animal in the shape of a fox- the stuffed animal has a collar the same color as Megumi's yukata. Yes, she's subtly teasing him about how much he seemed to enjoy the day Megumi was a toy he could carry around.
Mitsuhide(Light-Hair): Two oranges, and another book on birds.
Zhuge Liang: Two oranges, and a book about legendary creatures.
Zhou Yu: Two oranges, and a lighter book about computer science.
Megumi: Two oranges, and small tin of tea.
Sun Ce: Two oranges, and a paper crown she made and spray-painted gold. She didn't know what else to give him.
Kojiro (aka the "Let's keep things the way they are with only occasional arguing not fighting" offering): Two oranges, and a sword polishing kit. Also not sure on what he'd accept, but decided that as much as he liked his sword something to help him keep it shiny would not be completely unwelcome.
Musashi: Two oranges, and a note saying that if he wants to learn filters for his journal, she'll show him how. Didn't know what to get him.
Harry: Two oranges, and box of coffee beans.
Sarah: Two oranges, and a bird plushie.
Waverly: Two oranges, and nice paintbrush.
Jeager: Two oranges, and some grüne grütze(a type of German fruit pudding) that she bought from a store. Didn't know what to get him, but thought German food would be a safe bet.
[OOC: She'll be wearing that hanfu today, and looking a bit awkward in it. Everyone she knows got a gift and I think I included all under the cut; if my memory once again had more holes than swiss cheese and I forgot someone, either comment to let me know or assume they got two oranges and another small, fairly cheap item. Pretend this was posted at dawn; mun was too busy this morning to post at actual dawn.]
