Fun!
Tonight was fireworks night at the Lenexa BBQ challenge.
Kate's friend M is doing a sleepover with us and went too.
Big blanket. Chilly night. Fun kids. Really fun. Katie and M ran around being silly 8 yr olds. It was awesome watching.
G man and I enjoyed time together.

Fire trucks "peeing" on the ground (pumper ladder truck, raised high, wetting down the fallout area).
Other friends came by and joined us right at the time for the fireworks.
The fireworks started with a finale, then some fun stuff, then two finales at the end. Lots of fun. We were CLOSE (in the area that the city had set aside as safe, and city workers and fire trucks all around and they would have said something. Lots of booms and flash and sparkle.
