yay october
ok, so not QUITE but monday is close enough.
there are specific rules in our house on decorating for holidays. at least the two that chris and i are nuts about. halloween decoration can not occur any sooner than 10/1, and chrismas decorating can not occur any sooner than after we've had thanksgiving dinner. it preserves our individual sanities just a little bit. :P
that being said, since i cannot haul all the crap around this year, i am going to beseech my wonderful husband to get down all of the halloween stuff from it's perch starting tomorrow, and stage it all to go up sunday night. because sunday is close enough to monday. mirite? :P
anyways, it'll motivate me to clean the house. i really want this whole nesting thing to kick in so that i can stop sleeping all the time. i used to looove to sleep. now it's sort of a pain in my arms, so it's one of those things that has taken a rightful place in my life as a biological need rather than a desire of something to get more of. i'm not sure whati think of this yet.
anyways. i expect to be covered with orange and black glitter on sunday evening when i fall into bed. yay fall.
p.s. i admit it. i bought both the martha stewart living fall issue and the halloween special she put out. I DO NOT EVEN KNOW ME ANYMORE even though i've been a closet martha whore for years, who am i kidding :P
