looong day.
so chris and i took the day off of work today so we could look at day cares. personally, if i lived anywhere else i'd think i was insane. but when i casually called some places last week, and was met with waiting list dates like "june 08" (which is when we'd need it) and SEPTEMBER 08, it said to us that we needed to start looking, and pronto.
we looked at a bunch of places (as my feet can attest to) and one place was clearly the winner overall. we just felt... comfortable there. the infant room was fantastic, and the people warm and seemed to genuinely care for the kids there. we went to lunch so we didn't make a snap decision, and then cancelled our afternoon visits and went to drop off a deposit.
16 weeks saturday.
