so this weekend was a sew-fest. i hadn't started any of my d*c work yet, but i'm starting to get into full swing. it's really not even just for then anymore - i'd really like to have a non-helmet character for the 501st for those events when i need to sit (like the children's hospital) or for if we need a wrangler, or for when i'd like to take

jodi's doing an inara costume for d*c, i'm doing jayne, we have 2 potential washes, a mal, 1 or 2 kaylees, a simon, possibly a river. but no zoe.

so you know... just sayin... if you did get things together... ;)

i'm going to see how in-shape i can get for jayne. i'm down to "average guy" size now, but i'm hoping to tone up a bit. i'll never look like adam baldwin, but i'll see what i can do.

i'm doing a specific costume from one scene in the movie, and trying to get every detail down as accurately as i can.

that and i'm probably the only firefly fan that thinks vera is an ugly, ugly gun. i'd take mal's wife over that thing any day!!!
