+Chris got a job! He's in the management pyramid at Lens Crafters!! He starts on
Tuesday, I am soooo proud of him.
+Grades come out tomorrow. I have a B average that I hope raises my overall GPA so I can get some effing financial aid and buy a laptop.
+I am obsessed with organizing. I have been forever, but am taking it to a new level. I bought a Real Simple calendar for Chris and I to sync our schedules and avoid double booking ourselves.
+I am also going to invest $10 in a home finance journal so we can keep track of our bills and income so we can pay down our debt from the last year and finally buy an engagement ring. Fuck yeah!
+I love Aveeno body lotion, it's making me feel like less of a leper.
+Four day weekend, and did I mention I'm going to see the Red Sox???
After about a week I think I'm finally feeling alright. I think I'm ready to come out of the shell. All of the girls in the family wore black lace veils, and I kept mine. I also got a program and prayer card to give to my mom. I mostly wanted a program because it had a beautiful picture of her, and a list of all my tios and tias in order on the back...and my dad's name, of course. It's hard, when you have 10 aunts and uncles to keep their birth order and children and grandchildren straight. I am making Chris a family tree so that the next time we meet up he is more familiar...I don't blame him. There are at least 20 if not more of us grandchildren and then at least that many great grandchildren. We are all successful and well educated, and that makes me very very proud. I love my family...they are some of the coolest people ever.
