A pretty neat blog I came across recently is The Art Department, which is by someone in charge of designing a lot of the covers for Tor and associated imprints. Though it's mostly SF and fantasy, it's an interesting look at how they match up artists and designs with a book, and there are often examples posted of covers that don't make it to press ( Read more... )
