Oh dear lord god!
So yesterday a group of us were sitting round bored...and it became fairly apparent quite early on (about 6ish) that we were all going to get drunk.Me,Tom,Adam,Sara,Fran and Ali all started drinking ridiculous amounts of alcohol,went to the student bar and drank more,went to a house party and drank more.....and then there was the rave.
Last night there was a rave at the back of campus behind our accomodation on the South Downs.
I ended up taking MDMA for the first time and having rather an alarming reaction to it.Obviously by this point I was completely drunk anyway,so I bombed the MDMA and went to sit with Sara and Adam coz everybody else had gone home.I asked Sara how long it would take to kick in,she said 20 mins and then made a blase statement about how it could kill you.This was the last thing I heard before the rush hit me.
It was so crazy to be experiencing things that way.Colours and sounds were so sharp and it felt like I was in a tunnel for the first five minutes.According to reports..(I don't really remember anything after that),I had a MASSIVE freak out that I didn't want to die at uni and I wasn't ready.This then progressed on to me thinking I actually WAS dead.
Once I'd been brought back to my flat I then started majorly hitting on Adam and saying that we couldn't have sex with all these people in the room!!! Nikhil,(my housemate) then kicked them out and he stayed the night with me coz I was still freaked (I had to hold his hand the whole night).
During the night I think I must have suffered every side effect possible.I woke up sweating but feeling freezing,Id scratched one side of my face so much during the night it was raw,and my jaw had tightened up so much I had teeth marks on my tongue...and as for the teeth grinding!Dont get me started.I could barely walk today and my pupils are still dilated 24 hours later.
So,yeh...kind of scary.Ecstasy is supposed to be the happy drug!
