I just finished taking the practice LSAT. I'm now officially crosseyed, and not so sure I'm supposed to be a lawyer anymore. The test wasn't all the hard, with the exception of the 'logic games' portion: A lab is testing six chimps for acquisition of communication skills, and each chimp will be tested alone in a timeslot- either the morning or the afternoon, Monday through Friday. If Bozo, Frank, and Cleo are late sleepers and can only be tested in the afternoon, and Elmo is tested on Monday, and Alonzo must be tested before Elmo... you get the picture. No wonder I'm crosseyed. Just glad to be done.
Work last night was AATROOOCIOUUUSSSSS. ATROCIOUS. Thank God I already put in my two weeks, or else I would have just walked out last night. I had this one table, six 22ish year old women, who ordered the most complicated order I have ever heard in my life ("Do y'all have loaded mashed taters?? Cause I want mine loaded... and I want fries instead of broccoli, unless they spicy, are they spicaaay??") Please, shoot me. Then they got pissed, for whatever reason, and complained to my manager about how they didn't like their food and how they had to wait too long to get their strawberry lemonades. Meanwhile, I'd been sat a million and a half other times and was not in the mood for their shit anyways. Needless to say, they wanted their change down to the last penny. And I quote, "I need a penny change." You need a penny change, ma'am? "Yeah, I need may penny." Mother f*ckers. That was basically how it went... all... night... long. The only upside to last night was this kid left a slinky under the table, which they didn't return for, so I got a cool slinky out of that hellish shithole. The thought of going in there tomorrow morning makes me want to gouge out my eyeballs with rusty spoons. Painful to the very end. 4 more shifts... 4 more shifts...
Wow, that was pretty graphic. My apologies. Trust me, if you worked at ruby tuesday, you'd understand.
Tonight- party with work friends (the only thing that place is good for), and Sex and the City at Amanda's apartment. As for now, I sleep.
