Wishing I was with you....
Hey everyone. I'm kinda bummed cause I'm missing drum circle and cause Fabrice is away in the Keys. Regardless of what I've missed there is still much that I experienced. Fri. night was the baseball game with Chuck. It was pretty entertaining considering that baseball really isn't my sport. The people sitting around us probably got sick of our character voices around the second inning but we kept on till the end of the ninth. The pizza there was good but expensive as hell. I also had a giant cookie like the ones at school that I absolutely love. Anyway, the home team won so it was all good. I briefed Chuck on the basic plot of the book version of Wicked so he was considerably confused for a good chunk of the night. Damn good book, Wicked. Note to self: give book back to Shayna.
Tonight was IMAX with the fam. Not as lame as it sounds gimme a break. We saw "Mystery of the Nile" which was better than I expected. I used to have this thing for Egypt so it was cool. The people in it were the first to raft all the way down the blue nile. It reminded me of when I went rafting in Tennessee. After that we walked around Las Olas. I love Las Olas. I'd live on one of the parks benches there. Lots of interesting people. I wanted to stop and salsa dance where the band was but the fam objected. Typical. No worries though, it was fun anyway. I have a strange urge to buy a parrot. Always wanted one.
Today I also nearly killed myself stretching and working out. This always happens when I catch Cirque du Soleil on TV. They inspire me to be extremely fit and extremely flexible. Of course they're all professional dancers and contortionists and the like but I try. I would love to join Cirque someday. Probably not gonna happen but eh, a girl can dream can't she? I've always liked the thought of living a gypsy life. Traveling the world. Dancing around camp fires. Everyone knowing each other. Wine and incense and fire and wind and family and the mystery of tomorrow. What more could you want? That's all for tonight folks.
