Life is good.

So, I just got back from a meeting with one of my teachers and my lab partners, that turned into a meeting with two of my teachers and myself.

Well, let's say it was a dynamic meeting with people coming and going.

The good news is that I might be doing an experiment with newts, observing how the ability to orient according to magnetic fields varies between healthy newts and those infected with a certain fungus. This will involve building stuff, and working with a cool lab partner, and it may lead to more advanced work.

I have also been suggested for a job. There is an individual who is looking for field work assistants out in Michigan. He is going to pay these assistants, and provide them with a place to live. Two of my professors have contacted him and recommended me.

There has also been gaming. A friend of mine has a game called Arkham Horror, which is a board game set in the Cthulhu Mythos world, and we regularly find other people who are willing to play. It's an awsome way to kill a few hours, though we need to find a way to put the game away without ending it (basically, coming up with an organizational system to allow us to set up the game again where we left off).
