I leave tomorrow for California to teach at the week-long
"Liberty, Art, and Culture" seminar at
Chapman University for
the Institute for Humane Studies. While I am gone, my email and 'Net access will be somewhat limited. I will try to stay abreast of things, and then catch up on any correspondence I've missed once I return home.
Since I will be gone on July 7, I will go ahead and wish an early happy birthday to one of science fiction's greats, and one of my favorite writers,
Robert A. Heinlein.
In his honor, a quote for the day:
"Who is more real? Homer or Ulysses? Shakespeare or Hamlet? Burroughs or Tarzan?"
-Robert A. Heinlein from The Number of the Beast
