Substitute Fun

The weekend has kind of blown up on me. I had today all mapped out, mow the lawn, go see two or three movies, and post about CONvergence. Well, I can't get my lawnmower to start, my attempt to catch a movie was thwarted by awful traffic on Nicollet Avenue, and I continue to have terrible writer's block about CONvergence. So instead I got sliders from White Castle and watched Doctor Who all day. Which wasn't bad exactly (well, "Partners In Crime" was pretty darn bad), but it wasn't the more constructive sort of fun I had in mind.

I'll try the mower again tomorrow. Water may have gotten in the gas, so I'll try draining and refilling the tank. Then I'm planning (ha!) on the Bastille Day celebration at Barbette. I might finally post stuff about CONvergence, but it'll probably be in non-linear spurts, rather than a cohesive strict chronology. I seem to have had a narrative-resistant experience this year.
