Fuming

My usual Saturday headache became more intense than usual, as it had been augmented by paint stripper fumes. The bannister project has expanded to the stairs, which are even more covered with partially exposes layers of awful paint. And sanding doesn't work as well there. And ventilation in that part of the house is really terrible. The window in the stairwell doesn't have a screen, and it's December anyway. So we called it a day's work after only a couple hours. I've opened up what upstairs windows I can, have dealt with the cold, and the head is improving.

Speaking of heads, my art direction partner cancelled our meeting this afternoon as she has a headache as well. Only hers is bad enough to make her bedridden. I'm sorry she's feeling so terrible, but also relieved as I hadn't done much on my end of things.

I wound up sleeping twelve hours last night. Yoiks. One of those nights when I kept having really intense dreams that made waking up impossible. I don't like oversleeping like that. It blows the whole day and makes me headachey.

My place of employment's total ban on Internet stuff has had the awkward effect of making me do all my LJ and mesage board browsing in the evening. So I haven't done much that has been interesting. This afternoon I might pop in one of my trashy movies I haven't watched yet. I don't know. I feel kind of disinterested in most activities.

Headache seems to have dwindled away, though. That's cool.

dreams, headaches
