The child is right, I should really be making a better effort at writing here. And I should also learn to look over the things I post twice; that video caused quite an uproar. I'm pretty sure everyone's past it now, but it was just a mess at the time.

Caron and I spent the night in Kadessa, with too many close calls both ways for my comfort. I will be surprised if I forget what went on any time soon and I certainly don't feel like writing any of it down right now.

I really need to remind Caron not to be so reckless before I head off; but more about that later. Suffice to say we are alright, and have spent the last few days arguing speaking having words with the elders of this Wingly village. I've been able to convince them to leave here and rejoin other Winglies, but keeping them from starting something with the Humans is too much to hope for at the moment. The youth are more reasonable, and might be brought around in time, but most everyone else will likely be relocating to Ulara semi-permanently. There are a few stubborn holdouts, but members of their community are wearing them down even as I write this. Caron will be escorting them back, and I'll give them as much of a boost as I can from this side to hopefully cut down on their travel-time.
The place itself is really quite lovely, and it is a shame to leave it abandoned, but I'd feel much better to have them closer to home and friendlier company.
Anyway, I've decided I've had enough of Mille Sesian wilderness for the moment and plan on going off-world for a bit. I was hoping to start my magic lessons with Kanna, so if you're reading this dear would you be ready for a visit today or tomorrow? I needn't stay long, as there is still a lot of our worlds' differences to hash out before I can hope to teach anything, but I'd like to get going on that front.
And as this journal seems to be more popular than I'd thought, Rosie sweetheart if you're there too I've cleared some time for the next few days and wouldn't mind having that visit of ours. I have the feeling there will be some things you'd like to talk about. I'll probably also leave you a message in case you get that first; I'd hate to pop in when you weren't expecting me.
And, for the curious child: no dreams to write about at the moment, I've been too tired the last few nights to do anything but sleep like the dead. Which I hope to be doing a lot more of in the coming weeks.
