Honestly you're not missing much, I don't care for grits. But don't tell anyone Southern, they'll revoke my membership.

You've never SEEN a raccoon? How is that possible? The bastards are everywhere! I need to take you out into the woods, you need some wildlife exposure.

Bad things happen in the woods when you're not PREPARED. It's like a horror movie - do stupid stuff and yeah, something's gonna get you. I'm the only person I know who wasn't scared at all by "The Blair Witch Project" because I know what they did WRONG. First of all, they went into haunted woods. HELLO, what did they really think was going to happen?! And they messed with her stuff! They deserved all that.

So as long as you respect local legends (and property lines), carry a compass, some water and a shotgun, and take a dog along if possible, you should be fine out in the woods. It's all about respecting your own limits.
