I really want to sew things, but it is just too hot in the sewing room. I'm not being a wimp either, we're not running the central AC upstairs because it costs so much, so the sewing room effectively has no A/C, in Texas...in August. But I keep walking past my stripy hobby lobby silk, which is just BEGGING to become a smart, Victorian ensemble with lots of cunning, diagonal uses of stripes, and pleats.....
I wonder if moving my sewing stuff into my room for two weeks would be worth it. I am seriously considering it....the machine anyway. I could cut stuff on the dining room table.
And I actually have all of my Victorian undergarments here.
Clearly if I go through with this, we need to have a Victorian Tea on the hill, lizcostumes.
