In which the light of the end of the tunnel isn't a train. For once.

The last week and a half have been cray-cray, and today was just plain bad. (It involved a theft, and if there's anything I can't stand, it's a thief that takes something not critical to life. Bread yes, beer perhaps, guitar strings no.)

But tonight, June and Jacky called. I'm driving Mickie to their house on Friday, and she won't be back until sometime on Monday.

I'll get that Time To Myself this weekend - most of the day on Sunday while Andy works, then again on Monday when I'm off and Andy isn't.

Think I'll absorb the peace and stillness and silence and tranquility and wisdom and everything else that represents the opposite of how I've been feeling for the past ten days or so...

Or I'll just veg out on M*A*S*H reruns and eat too much and turn into a lump.

And-and, a cold front is supposed to come through this weekend, which will make my runs downright pleasant for at least the first half of next week.

I'll be fine. Just need to put my head down and keep plowing through. And keep an eye on people that may have sticky fingers.
