So it's 2022 and the third week of January already. It feels like a more settled early 2021, before I got occupied by repainting most of my house and then the holidays, which felt busy even without parties.

Hee! I finished my retirement paperwork just last week, so it's been a strange time of 'oh that's done' and 'what have I done?' for me so I do understand a bit of your feelings. It's always odd to shift into another phase of your life, even if you know it's coming.

Grace is still puttering around here at 14+ and doing okay. We got her a memory foam pillow and put the electric blanket on it, so she's quite happy about that. I wish I'd had memory foam for a few other cats who would have loved it too.

Dunno if you're watching any of the Star Wars streaming stuff--we've been enjoying The Book of Boba Fett quite a bit.

Yay retirement! I hope you love it.

I almost never buy anything for the cats, because they always seem to love the box the best. But the lady who brought me Purrcy also brought me a cat bed, and now Mischa has taken it over and sleeps there every day. He looks so comfy.

I've been watching the Star Wars streaming stuff but I haven't started on Boba Fett yet. (Jeremy Bulloch will always be my Boba!) I tend to wait toward the end so that if it's really intriguing, I can keep going. Soon!
