Winter weather?
What did I say? That I would post more often? Well, I intended too, and then our Internet went out at home! I think it was gone by Monday evening when I got home. On Tuesday our computer guy came by but said he couldn't help, the cable company needed to come by. He contacted them, but by Wednesday evening they still hadn't come. Boyfriend called and they knew nothing about our request. They finally came by by Thursday noon, and then they said it wasn't the cable but the modem, so back to the computer guy. The computer guy still sais it was the cable, but the Internet is fixed! So yesterday evening I spent catching up on mail and all. Great times!
It's cold and windy outside, but not cold enough for my taste. I whish for once we would have a real winter, but I guess it'll stay at wishes. I usually don't mind what weather it is, as long as I don't have to go out to often. And the worse the weather, the less I have to go out!
Only 2 more weeks and the holidays start. I didn't get a reply from my boss yet as for my holidays. I want to stay home for 2 weeks but to be able to do that I need to take unpayed leave. Not something my boss will be happy about. But I just need a break. I long one, a 2 weeks break. Coming into work every day is hard. As soon as I step from the train I feel my energy draining. It's like it all just flows away. I'm always tempted to turn around and take the train back home. And get back in my bed. It would be so neat. I really need that holiday! I'm going to ask my head of department today to see what I get. I need to know to plan the holidays.
I have little more to tell now. Oh, I put up my Christmas tree yesterday and I'm so happy! I think it looks super! I hope to be able to take a picture, but I used all glass (and I mean clear glass, no colours) and some silver, so I'm not sure any of it will show up on a picture. I do plan on putting up more decorations. I'm going to make this a goal, to get my Christmas decorations better every year!
Oh, and good luck, up till now my young pup has shown no interest whatsoever in the tree. The only thing that might happen is that she runs it over while chasing a cat or she might jump into it fighting with her mom. But apart from that, no interest yet! She's a sweety!
