I like crossover (though not all) but this, this pairing is eccentric and I like it. You write so good too. I would be very delighted if you write something like this in the future too.

i love this.

i like how it's the common 'loss' of donghae that initially bonds together, but then it's suddenly more than that--it's suddenly more about each other. i love love this part:

She thinks about all the people who are in her life but not really a part of it. [...] Her boyfriend’s roommate. Now ex-boyfriend. Now friend. Maybe.

for some reason, i especially loved the pub where hyukjae works, and how the food sucks there but jessica keeps coming back anyway. so much so that this scene is extra clear in my head:

Except by the third week he has to ask. “I thought we’d agreed the food here sucks.”

i feel like quoting so much more back at you, like the part about hyukjae growing into/accepting his looks, and the part where they talk about why and how they became what they are, and ugh the conversation about going to the end of the earth to find what they want/need is PERFECT, and well basically i really want to quote a lot lot more, but that will just make it overkill, and i might end up quoting back 11k words ( ... )

This fic is really inspired by the idea of two people who are sort of lost in life, unsure of who they are and what they want so it is, how you put it, that common loss of Donghae what in essence leads them to begin to find themselves and each other.

The fact that you would quote the whole fic back to me says more than enough ♥

I love roadtrip fic too and was really glad it worked so well for the purpose of this fic. Hyukjae is such a sweetheart he deserves all the love in the world I always say :)

Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I'm really happy you enjoyed it~

I don't think I've ever read a Hyuk + Jessica story before and while I'm not really into that coupling, I like this story. I guess it's because it's not really certain where their relationship will lead them. You can guess that they will be together but they went for so long as they are that maybe it stays that way so it doesn't get complicated ( ... )

The thing I like about Eunhyuk and Jessica is the possibility of their dynamics. I can't really see a romance in the conventional sense of the word but this friendship based on understanding because they're sort of similar in certain way. Or at least I see similar qualities in both of them sometimes.

Donghae here while he doesn't even appear, is a very important element in Hyukjae and Jessica's relationship. He's both the detonator and the explosion, what starts them off and possibly what ends it all as well.

Thank you so much for reading despite not being into the pairing :) ~
