Wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a sweat shirt, Hyukjae stood at the entrance of the Deli, leaning against the outside wall as he waited for Donghae to show up. He didn't want to call the other and seem pushy but he was a pretty punctual guy and didn't like to feel like he was being stood up. Shifting weight on his feet, he ran a hand through his hair and looked down the side walk.

Unbeknownst to him, Donghae was standing right behind, and he leaned up, blowing lightly on Hyukjae’s ear. “Hello.”

Hyukjae let out a scream and almost tripped over his feet as he stumbled forward before regaining his balance and turning around to stare at Donghae. "Oh my god! You scared me!" He said, laughing at his own reaction, eyes almost disappearing as he laughed brightly.

“That was the intention.” Donghae smiled at Hyukjae’s reaction, shaking his head. “Although I didn’t know it’d be that extreme. One of your charms.”

Hyukjae rolled his eyes slightly and walked into the deli, "I'm hungry... what do you recommend?" He asked, looking over the sandwich collection. "Want to eat here to take it to the park? It's a nice day... unless you're tired." Hyukjae looked at him.

“Hmm?” Donghae looked down at his work uniform from the supermarket before he nodded. “Yup. I’m tired. But a nice picnic in the park sounds good. The sandwiches here are decent. I love the cheese and steak, but that’s usually too expensive so I go for tuna. But the mocha is to die for here.”

"Okay." Hyukjae nodded. "I'll go with whatever you're having... and you really don't have to pay for my dinner if things are tight right now, I understand how that can be." Hyukjae said sincerely.

“Of course not. I said I’d bring you to dinner, and a good gentleman can’t let his date pay. So.” Mock bowing, Donghae grinned at Hyukjae before stepping into the deli. “Just wait here. I’ll go get our dinner.”

Hyukjae grinned at the show and nodded along with his words. "Alright then..." He said, stepping back as he let Donghae to go the front. He waited near the entrance for Donghae.

It wasn’t too long before Donghae was out again, bags in hand. “Alright. Where shall we go now. You’ll have to lead the way. I’m not too familiar with the park here.”

"Sure." Hyukjae nodded and began leading Donghae to the entrance of the park. "So why am I called apple boy again?" He asked, looking around to find a spot for them to sit at.

Donghae chuckled, tugging at Hyukjae’s arm and leading him to an empty spot. “I’ll tell you if you tell me your name and where you work.”

Hyukjae laughed and sat down at the spot, making himself comfortable. "Well alright. Hi, Donghae! My name is Hyukjae." He told him as if they were meeting for the first time, holding out his hand to shake it. "Wow, um I do a lot of time-consuming, energy-eating work for a company called Lee Holdings. Um, I don't really know how to explain my job, mostly sitting in a cubical or board room doing research and arguing with people." He nodded. "So, apple boy?"

“Wait… did you say, Lee Holdings?” Donghae paused, a strange look crossing his face.

“Ah yeah." Hyukjae nodded, "Do you know it?"

“Huh?” Donghae seemed a little bit disoriented before he smiled. “Yeah. I… considered working there once. Tell me, do you know the boss’ son?”

"Oh, we could have been co-workers!" Hyukjae smiled before frowning a bit. "No, never seen him, there are rumors about him, not many pleasant ones but you know, who am I to judge someone I've never met? Why?"

“Oh no. Nothing. I heard rumors too.” Donghae’s smile was a little strained, but he shrugged. “So, you wanted to know why I called you apple boy, right?”

Hyukjae nodded. "Why is that?" He smiled.

Donghae only reached into one of the bags, handing Hyukjae a drink. “Here. Drink this.”

Hyukjae blinked but took his drink, sipping away at it. "Now what?"

But Donghae wasn’t really looking at Hyukjae. He was, but only at a certain region. Sighing a little dreamily, he said. “Drink again. I love it when your adam apple bobs up and down.”

"What?!" Hyukjae pulled away, staring at Donghae. "Okay, you're so creepy." He laughed out of shock. "Making you call me at two in the morning, stalking me and watching my ass while I shop and how this?" He asked. "Wow, okay, there better not be any felonies or restraining orders under your name." He told Donghae, almost amused by him.

“Can’t help it if I have the sadistic tendency to tell people things they don’t know.” Donghae laughed, sitting back up and reaching inside to pull out a sandwich. “Honestly, I think everyone wants to behave the way I do, but they just don’t dare do it.”

"Yeah because some people frown upon things like that." Hyukjae smiled, taking out his sandwich as well and unwrapping it. "Although you make it more endearing then anything..."

“Endearing?” Donghae snorted into his sandwich, nearly spraying beef all around. “That’s the first time I’ve someone describe it that way.”

"This is the first time someone’s admitted to stalking me." Hyukjae told him, handing him a napkin. "Careful, don't choke..."

Donghae grinned, accepting the napkin and wiping the mess up. “Well, the key word here is admitting. I bet you’ve actually been stalked by lots of people, but no one ever admitted it.”

"And now I will be paranoid." Hyukjae shook his head. He took a few more bites of his sandwich and enjoyed the slight breeze as he looked around the empty park.

“Well, you have me to protect you now.” Donghae laughed, his hand snaking around Hyukjae’s waist. “We stalkers tend to be quite territorial.”

Hyukjae grinned and shook his head at Donghae. He blushed slightly at the arm around his waist and leaned in just slightly, getting their drinks out for them. "Is that so? So does this you'll be my only stalker for now?"

“Uhuh. Unless you wish me not to be.” Donghae grinned, taking a drink from Hyukjae.

"Hmmm depends." Hyukjae looked at him, sipping his drink. "Are you asking me out on another date?"

“Depends.” Donghae shot back. “Do you want me to take you on another date?”

Let’s see how this one ends and I'll let you know if the position of my personal stalker still open or not…" Hyukjae grinned teasingly at him.

“Huh. Looks like I have something to prove then.” Donghae laughed, and ignoring their drinks, he leaned down pressing sweet lips to Hyukjae’s.

Hyukjae relaxed quicker this time, smiling a little into the kiss as he kissed back, putting his drink down gently.

And Donghae slide his tongue into Hyukjae’s mouth, softly, but firmly. And his hands reached up, entwining themselves into Hyukjae’s hair, caressing the soft strands and tilting back Hyukjae’s head so he could reach in more - taste more.

Hyukjae let out a small noise of content and put a hand on Donghae's face, cupping his cheek as he followed Donghae's lead in being kissed. Donghae was a very good kisser.

Then pulling back suddenly, Donghae grinned, licking at Hyukjae’s lips. “If you want more you’ll have to invite me back for a second date.”

"Giving me incentives I see..." Hyukjae pulled away and went back to finishing his sandwich. "You'll have your answer when this date ends." He told him, "What are we doing after eating?"

“Honestly, I didn’t plan much for after dinner.” Donghae admitted, leaning backwards with a sigh. “I’m sort of new at this dating thing, honestly.”

"Oh?" Hyukjae tilted his head. "Don't date much cause you're busy stalking or just got out of a long relationship?" Hyukjae wondered, rubbing his arms to warm them up.

“I just… never really thought someone would actually come on a date with me.” Donghae shrugged. “And all my early on advances before I saw you thought I was joking. And besides, not too many people would think of dating the supermarket guy.”

Hyukjae blinked at that explanation, not expecting that at all. "That’s silly." He said, "Why should it matter where you work? Not everyone has a glamorous job." He frowned. "I'm sorry people reacted that way, I'm just getting to know you but I think you're a decent guy... a little sadistic and stalkerish... but decent." He teased lightly.

“You’d be surprised how where you work matters a lot to many people.” Donghae replied, a little sadness in his smile, “But you’re different. It’s… interesting. At first, I only liked you because you looked absolutely hot. But it seems more and more apparent I’ve gotten a really good catch.”

Hyukjae rolled his eyes slightly. "I'm glad to know you like me for more then just my ass now." He poked Donghae's sad smile. "There’s this woman in our office, one of the higher ups... she's totally after the boss’ son because she hopes to then just live off them or something, it's a little sad to see how much status means to people." Hyukjae told him, "I mean, she could be happy with the job she has and the guys she's dated but no..."

There was an indescribable look that crossed Donghae’s face. Then he looked down his body shaking.

"Donghae?" Hyukjae looked at him worried, putting his arms around him. "What’s wrong? Are you okay?" He leaned in close to Donghae, looking at his face to see what was going on.

“Bwahahahaha!” Donghae burst out, wrapping his arms around Hyukjae and knocking the both of them to the ground. “Oh gosh, Hyukjae. You’re so cute.”

Hyukjae blinked as he dropped back on the grass, Donghae on top of him. "Huh?" He asked, confused.

“You’re just so sweet.” Donghae didn’t explain further, mussing himself into Hyukjae’s chest. “I could eat you.”

Hyukjae laughed a little. "Please don't! I like being not eaten..." He explained, petting Donghae slightly. "Are you bipolar?"

“What?” Donghae blinked at Hyukjae before shaking his head. “No. At least I don’t think so? You just said something so adorably sweet.” He sighed, resting his head on Hyukjae’s.

Hyukjae smiled a little. "Oh good then... I think." He looked up into Donghae's eyes. "Why did you get all sad for a moment then?"

“Hmm? No, just thinking about the depravity of human nature. And then you went and proved me wrong.” But something in Donghae’s eyes looked a little off. “You’re such an exemplary human being, you know that Hyukjae?”

"No, I'm not all that good..." Hyukjae got slightly shy. "I didn't realize I was saying anything... that moving?" He laughed shyly. He smiled softly at Donghae. "Want to talk a walk?"

“Sure.” Donghae jumped up, offering a hand to Hyukjae. “You’ll have to lead the way though. I’m not familiar with this area.”

"Where do you live?" Hyukjae asked, taking his hand and standing up. "Don't you live nearby where you work?" He wondered, rubbing his arm with his free hand at the sudden chill he felt.

“I live a bit on the outskirts.” Donghae chuckled. “I’d love to live near here, but housing’s a lot cheaper on the outskirts, you know. And I’m sort of… in between jobs.” Then noticing that Hyukjae was rubbing himself, pulled off his coat and draped it onto Hyukjae. “Here.”

"Aren't you cold?" He asked, wrapping the coat around himself . "Oh how far out? Do you have to take the bus back? I can drop you home." He nodded, trying to be helpful. "What’s your other job?"

“It’s fine. I have a ride back.” Donghae flapped his hand. “My other job? You could say I help out with the family business.”

"Family business?" He squinted his eyes. "What is it?"

“Goods.” Donghae replied vaguely, before poking Hyukjae’s side. “Already getting ready to meet my family? My, aren’t you bold?”

Hyukjae shook his head. "N-no! Nothing like that!" He looked at Donghae seriously, "I... I'm just trying to get to know my stalker better..." He smiled and led Donghae down a path he liked to walk near the park.

Donghae laughed. “There are better questions to ask. Like what my favourite colour is.”

"Oh, right... okay. What’s your favourite color?" Hyukjae smiled at him, "And food?"

“My favourite colour is blue.” Donghae grinned. “As for my favourite food. It changes everyday. And today, it’s sandwiches. Guess why.”

"Why?" He asked, amused at Donghae's behaviour.

“Because I ate them with you.” Donghae replied. “What about you. Your favourite colour and food?”

Hyukjae grinned at that. "My favourite color is red and I love animal crackers, but you knew that one." He laughed, remember their first conversation together. "Ummm, have you lived in Seoul all your life?"

“Mmm… yeah.” Donghae shrugged. “I have. What about you?”

"Well I went to live with my dad for a few months but it didn't work out so I moved back... So other then yep, lived here my whole life!" He told Donghae.

“I see. I’m glad you did.” Donghae grinned. “Fat chance I’d have met you in Italy.”

Hyukjae shrugged. "You never know! Our lucks could have been different." He reasoned, looking up. "We're near my place... Maybe you can walk me home?"

The smile Donghae had on his face, was as if he knew something. “Not likely. But yeah, sure. I’ll walk you home. And maybe you can give me a goodbye kiss.”

“You are so demanding." Hyukjae teased, pointing out his building. "That’s where I live." He pointed out, missing the knowing look on Donghae's face. "It's too soon to invite you up so don't even ask." He told Donghae.

“Wasn’t going to.” Donghae held out his hand. “Come along then.”

Hyukjae put his hand in his and let Donghae lead him back home, feeling happy with how their date had gone. "So, I've decided to let you be my personal stalker... I'm looking forward to our second date..."

“Oh?” Donghae grinned, looking exceedingly happy. “When are you next free?”

"Well, depends on how much my boss will hate me during the weekend." He sighed, "Sometimes he loves what we've done but then suddenly hates it last minute or it's not enough and then we spend the weekend working..." He frowned. "But that’s life... Hmm call me and I'll let you know." He nodded.

“I see.” Donghae nodded, a secretive smile on his face. “But I’m willing to bet you’ll be free next weekend.”

"Who knows?" Hyukjae shrugged, "Maybe you'll have awesome luck and I will be." He smiled gently, "But I'm apologizing in advance if your luck turns out bad." He smiled, stopping in front of his building door. "This is me..."

Donghae looked up at the building and smiled. “Usually people don’t let their stalkers know where they live but… I’ll be nice, and I won’t bug your place.”

Leaning forward, Donghae whispered into Hyukjae’s ear. “So do I get a kiss?”

"You better be nice." Hyukjae told him, pushing him back. "Or I'll be taking this away!" He warned before leaning in and kissing him, wrapping his arms around his neck slowly.

And Donghae easily kissed back, sliding his tongue in, and continuing where they left off.

It was many minutes later that Donghae broke away, panting a little, eyes lidded and heavy. “Mmm… Good night?”

Hyukjae was panting as well, smiling at the kiss and stopping himself from leaning in for more. "Good night." He nodded, "Text me when you reach home so I know you didn't get lost." He teased, climbing up a stair to his door.

“Alright. Worry wart.” Donghae shook his head, watching as Hyukjae went up.

"I'm not a wart!" Hyukjae pouted at him as he unlocked the door and stepped in. He turned back and waved at Donghae before stepping inside and heading up, smile on his face as he went.

Donghae shook his head, smiling as he watched the door close, standing there for a moment. Then, scratching his head, he turned and began to walk off.

Not having gone up yet, Hyukjae turned right back around and opened the main door slightly, poking his face out a bit to watch Donghae walk away, smiling shyly to himself.

But Donghae didn’t see and he continue walking, disappearing around the block.

Hyukjae watched until he was out of sight before finally running up and getting into his house, he changed into his pajamas and laid down with his phone, waiting for the message.

Unbeknownst to Hyukjae, Donghae had got into the car off the side of the street - a nondescript car - so plain, that only the truly rich would ride in it.

“Young master.”

Donghae sighed at the title, ignoring it as he got out his phone. Texting a message to Hyukjae.

I got my ride back! Will be safe now! Have a good night!

Hyukjae smiled at the text, replying back with a smiley face and a good night before pulling the covers over his face, letting out a squeal of delight and finally drifting off to bed.
