INTJ trying to make sense of work

Okay let's do this *grabs a bottle of whisky*

Today was  particularly productive, putting it optimistically.

So, this is what needs to happen generally:

1. Anything related to official communication between the TL's and managers with respect to the restructuring must specifically come from me and Chris only.  Our role directly translates to face to face interaction between 5's, 6's, and 7's.
2. Recalibrate approach.  Representative should constantly be present with the frontlines to immediately address any and all objections to the new process and answer all relevant questions.

Specifically
1. Briefing tomorrow with DOX team to clearly set out responsibilities and expectations for Olivia.
2. Send an email tomorrow to the pilot audience for the new support mechanism guidelines.
3. Proactively ask for feedback regarding each individual request that comes across.

Okay.  Now my feelings.

I can't help but go back to my experience in rolling out the myProfit system and putting that in contrast to how this was rolled out.  There are several different things between those two
1.  I'm working with someone else
2.  We both took the top down approach during implementation

Point two was particularly amusing (albeit stressful) in that there was something short of a revolution that happened earlier.  Which reinforces my basic belief that nobody likes a top down approach.  It also leads me to think that a certain person is particularly... incapable of packaging initiatives like this.  Too bad.

Hm.  I'm generally fired up really.  I like social experimentation.  I like it especially if there is hostility (non violent) involved.

Earlier I was invited to a meeting where the two incumbent guys gave me a general outpouring of emotions on why this new process won't work.  Based on my reaction (basically I'm empathic), this was more of, quite bluntly, a big "fucking hell no this isn't going to work."  I addressed all points, I managed to draw out the bottom line, and I weaseled the path to this agenda using the all useful (but truthful) "this is in your best interests" line.

*gulps down more whisky*

I'm particularly pleased how me and Chris are with each other.  She is an intelligent, flexible creature.
