Happy 25th to me. My loving uncle kindly pointed out that I am a quarter of a century old. Now I feel old. Gotta love family.
A big Happy Birthday to Matt tomorrow as well! Wish I could be there with you.
So, I've learned to knit socks, and have discovered that it is amazingly fun! I'm not done with my first one yet, but I am almost to the toe, and it is a blast! Anyone who wants socks, I'll be happy to make them for you, but I'll need the length of your foot and money for the yarn, since I am poor! It ranges from about $8 to $22 depending on what kind of yarn you want, from rayon/cotton to the more expensive soft yummy australian/NZ merino wool.
The socks I make are not the thick bulky ones, although that can be done. I can make wild ones, lacy ones, cabled ones, and definitely socks fit to wear with business dress. So, if anyone is interested, drop me a line and I can send you some pictures to help you pick what you want.
I've also finally found the Broad Ripple crafting stores. This is bad for my wallet.
