I'm blaming it all on Due South that I'm apparently developing a taste for Canadian folk music. Despite the fact that Gordon Lightfoot tends to just repeat the same verse over and over for an entire song, there's a couple of his songs that have really grown on me. Possibly because I have a great love for songs about shipwrecks. Who knew? Well, actually, if you know me, I suppose it's not that surprising. I also discovered that Gordon Lightfoot wrote "If You Could Read my Mind," a favorite song of mine that I have never before heard sung by any one other than Johnny Cash (of all people). I have to say, I like this new version better.
I'm at work, and I have nothing to do. Fortunately, I'm not working tomorrow, and Friday is my last day. This makes me happy. So does LJ.
