I just posted two wedding previews to our site and thought they'd be fun to share:
Braden and Jill's wedding at a lovely little barn in Wilsonville. His mom was my perinatal coordinator for NILMDTS for three years and when she called me to find out details for prices and things I said, "I'm photographing their wedding. Don't ask another question." They were so sweet and fun, and clearly so, so, so in love in that way that is so easy when you're still setting out into the world. They met as freshman at Whitman and have been together since then and it was one of those "they just are" weddings. Love. (Oh, and yes, I'm in two of them. That will go away in later editing :)
Mike and Ally's wedding at the Hotel Deluxe in Portland. Will and Ally have been friends since grammar school and she gave Mike no choice in things-- she was hiring us. Their wedding was really low key and fun which you can totally see in the pics. Even the "formals" were only about fifteen minutes because that's just not them. And yet! That shot on the train tracks is one of my favorite couple shots ever. And their first look was in the hotel's bar, called the Driftwood, which is so cool and old school. That was probably my favorite part of the entire day.
