I just posted two wedding previews to our site and thought they'd be fun to share:

Braden and Jill's wedding at a lovely little barn in Wilsonville. His mom was my perinatal coordinator for NILMDTS for three years and when she called me to find out details for prices and things I said, "I'm photographing their wedding. Don't ask another question

I'm doing my cousin's wedding on Saturday, and I'm a ball of nerves. I wish you could hold my hand there, lol.

You're going to do just fine. Just remind yourself: I've done this. I like to walk around when I first get there and kind of get a feel of the place. And if you don't already, I really like doing a walk-through of the venue with the couple, or even just ask them questions about the place. What did they like about it? Why did they choose it? That's been a great way for me to make sure that I'm seeing it through their eyes.

Oh, and take pics of things that you aren't even sure if you should. I just got a request from Oregon Bride for something specific from a wedding and I had been just doing a lot of people stuff (since that's what the bride had wanted). Now I feel kind of dumb.

I'm on Facebook as Emma Easley Darden. But I am HORRIBLE at actually reading regularly. Email is way better! It's emmadarden@gmail.com (my work email is emma@rlportraits.com but my husband and I can each see each other's work emails, so that we don't miss anything, and so personal is easier.)
