I'm getting rid of some of the gear that we've replaced along the way with better/newer stuff. I'm still not sure why we have some of this but I digress. I wanted to post it here, first, before it goes to the world of Craiglist:
-- a Nikon D80 camera body. We also have the kit lens and a 50mm/1.8 lens and, of course, the battery and charger. We'll be listing it at $800
-- a MacBook Pro that's about two years old. It's still totally functional and has a great video card and a few other features that make it cool, according to my husband (he's an expert at Apple so I'm guessing he knows). It would work for even programs like Photoshop but I can't multi-task on it anymore. Listing it on CL for $1000
We'll also have some brand spanking new D300s in a few weeks. (We had two stolen from a church sanctuary a year ago and just finally got around to filing the insurance claim. They'll replace the gear as it was and thank goodness they still make those!) We also have 2 SB800s coming along with that and maybe a Tokina 10-17mm fisheye zoom.
And I might as well mention that we have a bunch of light stands and auto polls and reflectors that were part of the studio that I just need to offload. I don't ever plan on having a studio again because it doesn't fit in my new business plan so it needs to get out of my garage so that I have a nice laundry area ;)
