Dedicated to all the other fans of this pairing out there -- their music videos, fanfictions and pictures spawned my unhealthy obssession for this pairing;; And a special thank you to perfectzz who provided to final burst of motivation for me to finish this -I admit I got a little impatient at the end of things- by actually sounding excited for this and helping me with the front cover design. Also, the back cover's colour scheme was shamelessly ganked by me from an awesome FST by laffes  ♥ My first FST here, so the song choices might be a little wacky, but without further ado, I'll shut up for now! 02. Prince [Nicholas Teo]  
A song tinged with sadness and loneliness. A prince with everything he cared about driven out of his world. By accepting everything as they come, it's like a state of mind where nothing really matters in a world where everything is simply matter of fact. Embracing reality whole-heartedly is sometimes even more lonely than running away from it. But underneath everything, there's defiance. And in front of the world, the only emotion he would ever show is arrogance.

Their relationship started out as allies, bind together by mutual concern for their best friends. He was wary of her friend, and she didn't trust his friend. But they never knew that things would turn out differently for the themselves.

A soft, slow ballad, and the lyrics are absolutely perfect for Ga Eul. I don't think I need to elaborate more on this, but do check out the full version of the lyrics to this song :3

He's a total Casanova, everybody knows that. In some respect, some might say that he thinks that girls are just an amusing source of pleasure. What they don't know is, deep down, by flirting with other girls and never really being serious with anyone, he's keeping his heart all to himself and locking it away deep down where nobody finds it. He doesn't want to fall in love with another person ever -- he wants to be faitful to his first love even if she's not with him anymore. Until she came along.

07. Easier to be [Lifehouse] 
He tried to push her away by taking her out on that date. Even so, she didn't give up on him. At least, she might have come to think that her feelings for him are a burden for him, but she still wants to help him resolve his past, his relationship with her teacher. One last act of gratitute (?) for all that they've been through together, before she's ready to fully give up, or rather bury away, her feelings for him. Only her feelings for him; she'll never give up on him.

08. Learning [Green River Ordinance] 
That scene where he finally breaks down and cry after seeing the confession he never got the chance to see. This may very well be the first time he let loose his emotions and shed tears for whatever that passed. In doing that, he lets go of whatever grudge, and bitterness he's been holding to all along. They cry together, and she comes to understand a little more of this new side of love. Loving someone and letting them go.

09. I'm ready [Chase Coy] 
He's finally ready to move on with his life, unhindered by the past. His outer facade mayn't have changed, but it's a charcatic feeling to finally let go of something that pulled him down, restrained him -in this case, his feelings for his first love- and he's able to love again.
 For the first time,
I feel like I'm at a loss for words
There's nothing left to do but move forward.
I'm finally ready... for something good.

10. Once Upon A Lifetime [Shinhwa] 
The second line there -- he's realized that she's reached out and touched his heart, without him noticing it, and he's beginning to understand what she means to him. But there are dreams he needs to pursue, and she too, has things she wants to do with her life. That's why he takes her aside before he leaves and tells her he will come look for her first when he returns. He's not telling her to wait for him; he has given her a promise, and she accepts.
 Right now, the dreams I've longed for are slowly approaching and unfolding
When I close my eyes, I can hear someone's prayer entering my heart
I believe that all many promises I've made with the stars will come true one day
We can do anything if we sweat, and pay attention to those who are special to us.

11. One and only [Teitur] 
They are more than friends, but not exactly lovers either. It's a in-between relationship. Her best friend and her soulmate. And in the special episode, he too, asks her this question. To be his one and only love, his soulmate.

That was hard for me to say, I hope I said it right

12. 情非得已 [庾澄庆] 
I thought it was only fitting to include a song from the Taiwanese series of this drama, and this song has that easygoing casual feel to it that I can relate to their future relationship. He might not be in love with her yet -at least he needs some time to sort out this new feeling-- but he is falling in love now, after all that time. I imagine his approach might be something like this :D

The song he played for her that night he took her to the club. A song that changed things between them, from acquaintances to friends. I know I'm cheating by including the original soundtrack in this, but seriously, this song.

14. The moment [Kenny G]

A song that reaches into the heart without the need for words. I'm pretty sure the listener will understand the meaning behind those notes.

15. Half of my heart [John Mayer feat. Taylor Swift] 
Gosh I completely forgot about this song, both in the lyrics/explanations and the backcover. I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS. He doesn't think he will fall in love with another person again (at least not for real), because he doesn't want to love someone with only half of his heart, because he knows that it's wrong, that it is just a travesty of the true kind of love. Until she showed up.
