My weekend was crazy!
Friday night I had to work. It was an amazing night... CHRIS OSGOOD CAME INTO THE PUTTING EDGE!!!
I'll start from the beginning...
When I pulled into work, I noticed this guy getting out of his car the same time I was, and he had a little girl with him. I thought to myself holy smokes that looks like Chris Osgood! But I never actually thought it could possibly be him. I wanted to hurry up and get inside though, so I could get a better look at this guy. He held the door for me when I was walking in (AHH!) and then Craig was right there, so as Osgood walked up to the front, I stopped Craig and was like, omg I think that's Chris Osgood. Craig was like oh yeah it does kinda look like him. So then I thought well if he pays with a credit card, I could check that. And I just started flipping out because I was like 99% sure it was him. Craig told me I had to be calm and not scare him away...and he was like don't bother him or freak out, because we want him to come back. So I ran and put my stuff in the office and then ran up to the front desk and asked Rhonda (the girl I was working with) if he paid with a credit card. He paid with cash so I couldn't check his receipt, (but we saved it!!) and I was just freaking out. So I called Jenn because I had to tell her that he was there, and it turns out she was home for the Dave Matthew's Band concert, so she like FLIPPED OUT and started screaming and she was like, I'M ON MY WAY, DON'T LET HIM LEAVE!!! Once he was finished playing, I took his and his little girl's clubs and they put their balls back, and I tried to start some conversation but it didn't really work. I couldn't think of anything to say! So I just said my usual putting edge routine...how'd you guys do? did you have fun? Then I gave him a coupon, said bye, and have a nice day. He was so nice, and so sweet with his daughter! It was cute. As he was leaving, Jenn was RUNNING up to the door, and Osgood held the door for her, and then she asked him if he was Chris Osgood, and he said yeah. Then Jenn came in for a while and we just freaked out about the fact that Osgood had just been in!
I have LOVED him for the longest time! He's always been my favorite, and he still is. AHH! He was soooooo hot. I will never forget that night at the putting edge...December 2nd, at 4:52pm. Oh, and I kept his ball :)
Saturday morning I had to work 12-6 and it was crazy. We had like 16 birthday parties so it was pretty chaotic with just the parties...plus all the walk in people. Anyways, in the midst of the craziness, the fire alarm starts going off! So I'm like holy cow...don't panic. Haha. I sent Chrissy and Rhonda on the course to see if everything was ok, and I checked out the office, and then we checked the bathrooms, kitchen and storage room. Everything seemed to be ok, so I called fountain walk security and let them know the fire alarm was going off, and they said someone would be there soon. Then I called Craig to let him know what was going on. He said to call the fire dept., so I did that, but never got a hold of anyone because it went straight to a voice mail. Isn't that ridiculous? Anyways, the security guy told me to check all the fire alarm things to make sure none of them were pulled, and the fire department would be there soon. So I checked all the fire alarms, and they were all fine. Eventually, the alarm went off, but the flashing lights stayed on. The fire department finally came, so I talked to the fireman and he said in the spot next to us, there's a vacant spot and a water pipe broke, which made the alarm go off. They silenced the alarm, but couldn't do anything about the flashing lights. So later the manager of Fountain Walk came and talked to me, and apparently the water pipe that broke caused the spot next to us to turn into a lake! So they said they had to shut off our water....by this point, I was going crazy with everything that was going on. So....the guy gave me his card to call him if we had more problems, and he said hopefully they wouldn't have to turn our water off, but if they didn't do something soon that the putting edge would start to flood. Finally it was 6:00 and I got to leave...
I guess they never had to turn off the water, but the flashing lights stayed on all night. And I had to go up to work this morning around 9:30ish and the lights were STILL on!
What a crazy crazy place!
But it made my weekend eventful.
I haven't done much today...I had to go up to work this morning for a little bit, then I went to church, did some homework, got one of Ryan's Christmas presents, and thats about it.
The next two weeks should be busy with classes ending, but I couldn't be more excited. I am sick of this semester!
Ok, this is way too long.
