Good times...

So, yesterday I kinda moped around during the morning. I didn't get up until like 10:30, then I planted my butt firmly on the couch with my new laptop on my, well, lap. Not a spectacular start to a day.

Then Stefan Schreiber came over, and thank god he did, I was starting to grow into the couch. So, we went and ate burgers at Griffs, then headed down to the 16th Street Mall. Stopped by Virgin and got my dad a VERY belated birthday present ("Eruption" by Mountain), and got myself a couple of cheapo CDs on sale (Beatie Boys' "Ill Communication" and "London Calling" by the Clash). I've been working on replacing all of the cassette tapes I collected in my Middle School and High School days. A bunch went AWOL, so I'm having to go off of memory.

Later that day was Fair Well practice. They parted with their old keyboardist (The Artist Known as Moth), so I offered to play some keys with them for a while. It's fun stuff. After practice Ben invited my brother and I to come to the Pour House to hang out with an old friend of his, Ruthie. So we did that. It was a lot of fun, it got me out of the house and all that good stuff. I'm of the opinion that we should do it again. For a while we had a weekly get-together where a bunch of us guys would hang out and drink beer (an other assorted alchoholic beverages) and talk about good times. It might be fun to keep that going.
