WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD and CREEPY!!!!
So for Loyalty Aimee, Connie, Sarah Frei, Katie Grein, Laura H, Lainey and I got to help out an LW 50th anniversary. Wow...lots of 68-69 yr olds! Well we were supposed to be there from like 4:45-9pm (yay for traffic on the way there)...
So they needed 7 people to just direct ppl to their nametags, tell them to sign in, and give them a memory brochure..Yes as Sarah pointed out..they could've just put a sign there telling all this. Well I'm not complaining, there was many men hung for Aimee's and Katie's enjoyment (playing hangman), lots of talking, and seeing the yearbooks from 1954 and 1955. WOw..No color for senior pics, they had a science club!! lol, and their tennis team had wooden racket and were in top of Kingco...saddening...our team hasbetter rackets and near bottom of Kingco...
They had a junior Prom tho, ah! lucky them. Most of the designs and art was handmade it seems and copied on, it was really cool.
Then music came and Lainey got to teach me how to swing dance (me...being me, didn't know how to) so that was a fun little 5 minute lesson.
So to the creepy part. We left (after 40 minutes of Katie saying we should go since we have nothing to do). Well they left, and then Sarah, Laura and I went to our cars last. Well half way there, Sarah and I notice we lost Laura. So we check inside and she isn't there-probably in bathroom. So I was like, well lets go upstairs since we were both curious as to what was there. CREEPY
OLD ANTIQUES EVERYWHERE. There was one of those merrygoround Horses just hanging from the ceiling. In another tiny room there was a chair and a phone with 911 written on it! Another part closed off there was a room with mini 2 feet cars and a bar. But we learned gas was 16cents a gallon back then...
So that was weird and creepy. So we went back down and went outside. On our way to the car we found that there was a basement to the place. Didn't know if we were allowed through the unguarded door, But I bravingly opened the door! So me being a gentleman, let Sarah scaringly (a word? now it is!) lead us on. There was a room sealed with a gate with a fridge and crates of beer. Then we saw a cool night and Sarah took a picture of it. We heard noise so we left, and happens we saw Laura. So we told her and thus revisited the 2nd floor and went back down. This time we went next to the night and could actually see people in across (50yrd in an opening) working in a kitchen/bar. It seemed it was an antique restaurant...wooooo bizarre!!!
And it just so happens that Laura's phone rang. So since we were far from the exit stairs, she ran towards a door (in plain view of the employee 50feet away) and slamed it open except it was locked..so she ran back to our hide out..Wow..now if that noise didn't alert them then our scared laughs did..
We ran one by one upstairs and left...Ah what a creepy place this Hollywood Schoolhouse is! It's like one of those creepy dollhouses (yes there was one of those talking dolls downstairs!) in those horror movies.
