Yay! I love bdays!
Tomorrow is my sister's bday. She'll be 27. Shhh... she doesn't want anyone to know cause she thinks she's old. :P But she's not. lol Chris (her hubby) called me last night and asked me to take her out for her bday to P.F. Chang's. He says he'll pay for it, but he wants to get her away from the house for a little while. He and Clint are throwing her a surprise bday party tomorrow night at Clint's house. The plan is for me to take her out and then Clint casually call and tell her to come over and just let me tag along. I'm excited. It should be great fun. I'm not sure what I'm getting her for her bday, I may get her a shirt or something. Chris got her an all-day spa package for tomorrow, but he's not gonna tell her til it's time to go to it so she'll be surprised. She seemed kind of down last night when I called because she thinks nobody remembered her. But when I told her we were going to Chang's she got excited. :)
Not much else has happened. Today I signed up to be on the Prom Promise Committee. I can't talk about it on here though, because I've been sworn to secrecy. All I can say is that I'm very excited about working on it and it should open a lot of people's eyes.
Kk... I gotta go now, bc I'm on my way out to the Big Oak Ranch. I go out there once a week and tutor the girls. For those of you who don't know, the ranch is a place for abused and neglected children under 18. Families move out there and taking care of a family of 8 girls becomes their full time job. It's a very fulfilling experience to be out there. Last year I grew close with a couple of the girls out there and I'm looking forward to seeing them again. Bye bye.
