Thing-a-Day - Days 8-15
Days 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13 were all work on a naalbinding sock. Happily, Day 15 was FINISHING said sock.
Now just to do the second sock. *sigh*
Day 10 was designing two books on Mixbook - one on the pharmacy museum in DC and the other on Pictish clothing. It has shipped, but is not here quite yet.
Day 14 was turning an ottoman into a oven! :)
I have a several friends with kids, but none of my own. I like having toys for the kids, but I also prefer for things to look tidy.
I have these little black ottomans that currently contain baby toys and need to be updated to toddler toys.
I purchased a lot of IKEA stuffed “food” and some little cookware… But I wanted a stove for them to play on… A stove that wasn’t an eyesore in the living room. Some wool felt, a little time with some scissors and voila! A stove on the inside of an ottoman! Space to prep and cook dinner!
And it all stores away neatly (even the little larder mouse)!
