Hanamizuki DVD Booklet Scans and Picture Preview!

Mar 04, 2011 15:22

My Hanamizuki DVD arrived this morning!

I can't believed it got here so fast, things usually take much longer to reach the States. I only ordered the Premium edition, since I'm a poor student and have no money to shell out and buy two versions to boost sales figures and collect the set.

Anyway, I'm sure none of you want to hear me ramble, so on to the pictures:

Isn't it beautiful?

And the back:

It's shrink wrapped, so I agonized for quite a bit over whether to open it or not, but in the end, I gave in and opened it, but somehow managed to preserve the shrink wrap in a way that I could still put it back on afterwards--which is helpful, because it turned out the outer covering that you see in the pictures above actually is a paper covering over the box inside, so it'll be a pain to try to preserve the paper cover otherwise.

Let's take a look at the insides then. This is what you see after you remove the paper cover:

and the back:

when you open it (well, it won't be exactly what it looks like because I arranged the postcard set and the booklet so that Toma's face is showing for each one):

And the actual DVDs:

They are even arranged so that they are looking at each other from opposite sides of the box!

And now, gifts for you all as you wait for your own DVDs to arrive:

Postcards Scans (Toma Only, please comment or PM for ones without Toma):
[MU] 300dpi, 5.9 MB
Password hint: the title of the movie in romanji, without the vowels (5 lowercase letters) + the birthday of the JE actor in the movie (4 numbers). Oh, and no plus sign in the middle!
The quality isn't great, so this is really a preview scan. If you are looking for scans to make graphics out of, I suggest that you wait for better quality ones.

Booklet Scans:

[MU] 300dpi, 39.4MB
Password hint: the title of the movie in romanji, without the vowels (5 lowercase letters; for example, if it's "Example," it'd be "xmpl") + the birthday of the JE actor in the movie (4 numbers, mmdd). Oh, and no plus sign in the middle!
While the quality of the booklets is better, some of the pages weren't completely straight, since my scanner isn't big enough to scan both sides at once, and it's difficult to get the angles aligned right without taking the booklet apart or bending it too much. I left out the pages with only non-Toma pictures, so if you want them, shoot me a comment or PM me.

Don't repost the links or my scans, and enjoy!

Oh, and before you ask, I won't be ripping my DVDs for raws--at least not until I find a more reliable ripping program on mac that doesn't make me fear for the life of my DVD while it's doing it's work.

ikuta toma, scan
