Well I'm in Scotland, and the tale of woe continues. They closed the runways on takeoff in Toronto due to torrential downpoars so all planes had to take off and land on just one runway. After about half an hour we got off into the air. Sadly our movie choice was limited. we had valentines day and nanny mcfee. they were forced on us, the only way not to watch (no seatback screens, just ones every 10 feet or so) was to close your eyes. which I did once it got dark. There's nothing like a 4 hour night eh? I love flying against the clock, I feel like a time lord.

Anyway, upon landing we were some of the last few off the plane, and upon reaching our car rental agency we discovered we had the wrong info and had to go from counter to counter to find the right one.

We eventually did it in time to be told that the car wasn't ready, hence me sitting in a starbucks, writting this post. but as I can't access it I"ll post once I get to the hotel.

Cheers me for a nap.

Parte the seconde

Today after much sleep I drove to the coast. Da and I went to the Largs Viking festival. A nice drive through winding roads to the coastal city of Largs. The festival is held on the shore, mostely a midway and rides with some vendors. Down at the end of the row is the village, a collection of huts and tents walled in. We looked in at all the re-enactors and chatted, I got invited by a number of them to come back next year and set up a tent. Do some sales and have some fun in Scotland maybe? you never know eh?
Than after an enjoyable day at Largs it was back to the hotel where I got to meet my brother Graham for the first time. Great guy, we're already planning out the rest of the week. It should be great. Anyway I"m out of time so I'm off for the night. More to follow.

Parte the third.

I'm sitting in a burger king on the high street in Falkirk where we are staying. It's one of the few places with Wi Fi I've come across. I'm making a quick update before I head back to the hotel to meet up with my Brother and family again for a few drinkks. We spent the day at stirling castle where I took about... ohhh... 600 pictures of so. Not a bad place for the upcoming Zompoalypse. Very well defended, working wells in each secion, we could hold out for years, as long as the food works. and I would drive pigs, cows and everything I could find up from the neighbouring fields, which are vast and well stocked. The view is tremendous.

I do love it here but there is one thing that would make it better, I'm missing you. no not you. You....

anyway ?I"m off as the torrential downpour, or "scottish mist" has now ended and I can make it back to the hotel in about 20 minutes before it starts again.
