POST EIGHT HUNDRED AND TEN

Apr 28, 2013 17:56

I had a good dream and a not so good one thereafter but I was quite happy when I woke up.

I'll mention the not so good one first: I dreamt that I was out with my secondary school mates (I dream of them very often even though I very rarely meet them because I'm only close to some of them and I hardly meet them like the others) and I saw my Sec 1 teacher (whom I liked because he was very friendly and he got me interested in English, in some sense). Usually some people won't go up and acknowledge others - probably not teachers if they aren't exactly close to you. Anws, I actually went up to him to say hi, with my dishevelled hair and clothes horribly mismatched. He looked very (a bad kind of) surprised to see me (in that state, why not) but still replied.

Later on (dreams don't make sense), I was accused of having a crush on some guy in my class by my Sec 1 classmates (that happened in Sec 3 to a real person which was just a bunch of guys joking around really) and he had some nickname which is impossible to pronounce because his nickname had no vowels in them. Something like "SVM" os "SBM". I kept denying because I have no idea who they were talking about, I had no crushes on any guys in my class and none of them had such a nickname (or a name close to that). I confided in my best friend (we're still friends till now in reality) but she told me to shrug it off. She believed me though, whereas the others just took to taunting me nonstop for something silly as this.

I still don't know why people find teasing fun to do - they've obviously have not been on the opposite end of it.

The rest of the dream was a blur. I think later on I shared a hotel room with my best friend (think we were on some kind of short field trip) and the room we were in was supposed to be split into 2 smaller rooms (we would take one and a bunch of classmates the other) but somehow they didn't place the divider, I ventured into the other room and some dude was injured badly in the bathroom. The other classmates were trying to stop him from hurting. Well, I don't know what to make of that really.

The first dream though /le sigh/ is probably the stuff of dreams. In every literal sense.

I was in some kind of competition (I think I'm just going to call it "The Bachelor", only minus all the hot tub scenes. The competition part was very short and there were only a bunch of people in this "competition". Anws, I was pitted against this lady who is considerably older than me (old enough to be the Bachelor's mother and she was really relentless. Like she wanted to win, but I think only because of winning and not because she liked the guy. In the end she gave in because she saw how nice and genuine I was, so I won.

Dude (who looked like Zachary Quinto btw, although I much prefer Chris Pine because of his gorgeous eyes) and I got some celebration for my "win" and there was just a lot of socializing and smiling and champagne glasses clinking. I had my hair done a la Kate Middleton (maybe it's my tumblr searches that's been giving me dreams) and wearing a pretty black and white dress. Dude had his hand placed behind my back for the most part while introducing me to all the important rich people at the party. (That felt nice - haha.) Then a lady came over (I don't think it's the same one) and she told me how lucky I was and I asked her why she would say that. She just said that she noticed how the Bachelor had been looking at me all night and was very in love.

I know - sounds like a fucking Nicholas Sparks novel. I was still very flattered and it's nice to think that someone you like loves you back a lot (if not more) than you expect. All in all, just a very sweet love story that played out in my subconscious and made me smile, even though I have no idea who the dude is and I obviously am a novice when it comes to love or love-related matters.

delusional at best, i wish
