The Associated Press: Vermont legalizes gay marriage with veto override:

Can't quote the story cuz those guys at the AP might cry.

But basically Vermont's legislature just overrode their Republican governor's veto in both houses. The Senate was 23-5 and the house had a 100-49 vote.

This just in - only 28 people in the Vermont Senate.
