This last part of this entry just made my rest of the semester...
I really should be working on my part of my group's final presentation for my first-year seminar class, but I just got up, I'm tired, and I can't be bothered to do it! So I'm sitting here in my dorm room in my roommate's big comfy armchair, drinking one ot those Starbucks coffee drinks that comes in a glass bottle...know what I'm talking about?
Oh, and my dog was so excited to see me when I came home for Thanksgiving, it was so cute!!!! And she slept on my bed the whole time I was home. :) The only problem is, she takes up a lot of space, and I only have a twin bed at home! (BTW, the dog is my family's Golden Retriever, Tori. She's six, but still acts like a puppy and likes to get into things.)
I have found out when three of my finals are, but none of them are cumulative, and the only one that might actually be difficult is women's studies, and the whole of finals week, there's no class or anything; we're just supposed to study. But I still need to find out when my earth science final is going to be.
I'm entertaining the notion of going over to the little coffeeshop inside my school's library, but that would entail showering, getting dressed, finding money, and going out in the cold!
David and I are going to go to our school's winter formal (like a prom,) and beforehand, he suggested we go out to this Japanese steakhouse with our friends, since it's more fun in a group. I've only been to one before, but it was awesome! Everything is cooked right in front of you on this boiling-hot steel slab, and the chefs do tricks and cook everything with a ton of flair! The guy who cooked ours at the place I've been to before even poured alcohol on the slab to sterilize it before cooking, then lit the alcohol on fire, so the whole thing went up in flames! It was really scary, but so cool!
yoursforever_me said she sent me a Christmas package!!!!!!!! I hardly get any mail whatsoever, and getting packages is a special event here. First, when your package comes in, you get an email in your student account saying you have a package at the front desk. Then you have to go down to the front desk of your hall and show your ID to get it, then, since there are always a few people hanging around the front desk, they all want to know what it is...but I don't know WHEN the package is going to come, and the suspense is KILLING me!

yoursforever_me was just at her friend A's house, and A has a webcam on her computer, so we both hooked up to our webcams and could see each other! we were making faces, showing each other things, hugging as best we can over webcam...I was so excited!!!!! I hope A lets her use her computer again sometime soon! It was so awesome!!!!!!!! It totally just made my day, no, my week, no, the whole rest of my semester!!!!!!! Not to mention she and her friend cracked me up with all their nonsense!
